Hello Louisa County High School Family and Friends – As we continue with the task set before us and entrusted to us – that of educating and nurturing our students here at LCHS, I take this opportunity to say thank you for the journey. I am enjoying the opportunities set before me each day and I welcome each new challenge. My duties this year include: tenth and eleventh grade discipline, transportation discipline, lockers, substitutes, homebound, textbook accountability, supervision of secretaries, resource personnel, and the school nurse, CTE administrator, and other duties as assigned by Mr. Straley. I continue to believe that all children can learn and that each student can be successful. I am committed to the challenge of helping students to realize their individual growth areas while capitalizing on their strengths. We are not only building a community of learners but a community of learners who believe in their own personal worth and capabilities. We are only a part of the whole, though. I encourage and invite each of you to take an active role in your child’s future by starting with the present. We are all products of what we once were – feel free to stop by to talk to an administrator. Talk to your child each evening about the events of the day – committing him or her to tell you one thing learned in each of the classes attended that day. I look forward to the days, weeks, months, and years ahead as we continue nurturing our Learner’s Community here at LCHS – Home of the Lions. I am . . . at your service
