I lived in Farmville for a few years while I attended Longwood (Go Lancers!), and I moved around a little with my husband while he was in the army, but other than that, I've spent my entire life in Louisa. :)

At 18 I went to work for the Virginia State Police in Alexandria. In 1970 I went with the new Prince William County Police Department as a Dispatcher. Over the years I received several promotions and retired on January 1, 2000, as a 1st Sergeant. I worked on a consulting contract basis for the police department and a private software firm until coming to Lake Anna.
